The Old Schoolhouse Gallery 2008 Calendar
1. There are three featured artist exhibitions. Featured artists are not charged an entry fee but asked to donate one painting
to be raffled off during the subsequent reception.
2. For the Juried Show, prizes will be $400, $200, $100 and six awards of merit of $50 each.
3. Through themed shows it is hoped our members will venture into new forms and experiences, and stretch their talents.
These include Computer Art, Figurative Art, Animal Art, Sculpture and Ceramics, and Self Portraits. Art not fitting the theme
will be accepted and hung as space permits.
4. The entry fee for non-themed shows remains $5.00. For the themed shows, $6, but entries that conform to the theme
will be charged $3.00.
5. A prize of dinner for two at a local restaurant will be awarded "Best of Show" at each themed show.
6. For each sale of art, Allied Arts will retain a commission of 25%.

On exchange days:
Please check your entry to see that it has a proper wire hanger for display. No sawtooth hangers allowed. We simply do not
have personnel available to repair frames, wires, etc. You will be expected to volunteer as a docent one day in the month
until all vacant days are filled, as is the case with most other art associations.
For unframed bin entries, four pieces can be entered for one month for $5. You are asked refresh with new pieces every
month in the bin category.
